Monorail Station

I designed a monorail station in SketchUp, and then made a painting out of it. This will be used in the Lantern Circle project. I'm going with a retro-futuristic look for the architecture.

My Lantern Circle project has been on the back burner for a bit while I've been doing a lot of commercial work, but I certainly haven't abandoned it. The story has evolved a bit since I originally imagined this scene, but I wanted to paint it anyway. This was also a great chance to balance out all my blue and purple paintings with something warmer.

Six Seasons and a Movie!

This weekend I got to participate in an art show held in honor of the tv show "Community." Thanks to everyone who put the show together, to everyone who came to check out the artwork, and especially to all the writers and actors for stopping by too!

Alice

I always wanted to try out an Alice in Wonderland illustration (me and every other illustrator). I'm not sure that I got it out of my system quite yet, so I may do more sometime in the future.

Children's Book

This is from a project that got cancelled. I can't say much about it, but I was really happy about the style I was going to get to work in if it went forward.

Coming Soon

I've been saying that I've been developing a story, and I still am. I'm almost ready to launch the story project, but for now I have a quick painting of one of the scenes I have in mind.

Community

Community is probably the best show currently on TV. Hopefully it stays around.
